The first day we flew the center of the town. It was a way to get an overview of Cabo and discover other places to fly. And sure enough, we did find another beautiful location. Right on the beach, on the way to Lands End, the famous arm extending out of Cabo. At the very end of the arm is the iconic El Arco de Cabo San Lucas.
It took us about 35 minutes to get to Lovers Beach and from there we did a quick flight to see what the last little obstacle between us and the Arco de Cabo San Lucas looked like. It wasn't easy to get us and our equipment to the other side of that very last ridge of rock. Mark strapped on a GoPro camera, took his back-pack off and then ventured out into the water, trying to get through a little canyon. It wasn't easy but Mark, the trooper he is, made it to the other side. Unfortunately, there was no way for us to get our equipment there without it getting wet. So we just flew from the Lovers Beach.
